Variation is present in all research and to establish the cause and effect we need more rigorous research design whereby there is evidence of control over those other known factors. Learn about Design of Experiment techniques to control variation and to maximise data quality. The types of Experimental Design that is most widely used in practice are discussed.

This course will equip participants with the skills and knowledge to analyse data so that the participant will know what is going on behind the number crunching and hence they are in control of the analysis. The course participants will be exposed to the importance of looking at data and figuring out the story behind it so that the story is told correctly, fairly and comprehensively. Hence this will lead to better management decisions and improving the quality of service delivery.

This is a basic course to introduce participants to principles and techniques in writing a case and its accompanying user guide. This course also teaches how to produce a draft case study for training purposes. This type of course is suitable for trainers from the public sector training institute, government officers who are involved in training, and those who are interested in writing cases for the management.
